The second session of the day in the Craw’s Nest Tassie and Maulesbank Trophy saw the eight competitors reduced to four.
There will be a fair amount of interest in the semi-finals of the Tassie with two local former winners going head-to-head as Andy Fyfe faces Scott Mann after they beat Thomas Cummings and Mike Seenan respectively.
In a tightly contested match, it took until the 26th hole for Steve Sansome to overcome Daniel Adkins.
Tomorrow, the semi-finals will take place in the morning before the winners of the Craw’s Nest Tassie and the Maulesbank Trophy are decided in the afternoon.
