Scott had the perfect end to the season with a hole-in-one on the 8th Hole of The Carnoustie Championship Course.

Second Place in St Andrews Classic
Scott shot an excellent final score of -6 to finish in second place at the St Andrews Classic by Fugro, played on the St Andrews Jubilee Course.

Burnside New Course Record
Scott Mann, a member of Carnoustie’s elite amateur golf team (Team Carnoustie), played an incredible round of golf on The Carnoustie Burnside Course on Wednesday 16th of August 2023, breaking his own previous course record!
Scott shot a 12-under-par round of 56 from the white tees, breaking his own previous record by 2 shots and setting a new course record. His colourful scorecard featured ten birdies and an eagle, shooting 28 on the front nine and 28 on the back nine. Scott’s birdies occurred on holes 1, 5, 6, 8 and 9 on the front nine and 10, 12, 15, 16 and 18 on the back nine, with his eagle on the 11th. The 372-yard par 4 11th hole named ‘Deil’s Ha’, presents a green that is considered to be the hardest of all three courses at Carnoustie Golf Links, but this proved no match for Scott.
Scott has accomplished remarkable feats in golf this year, including his second Hole-in-One in June, a new course record on The Carnoustie Burnside Course, a personal best handicap of +6.5, and a new personal best drive of 328 yards. We are excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for Scott!
