This year’s Carnoustie Golf Links Annual Putting Competition was a great success with more than 90 adults and juniors taking part.
The event was held on the free public putting green at The Open Championship venue and was part of the Carnoustie Gala Week celebrations.
Stuart Norrie made it around the 18-hole course in 37 strokes to take victory in the adults competition just ahead of Kahim Gaffar, who finished with 38 strokes.
In the junior section, for those aged 12 and under, the winner was Ben Teviotdale with 46 strokes, while Gemma Norrie was runner-up on 48 strokes.
The public putting green at Carnoustie – located parallel to the 18th hole of The Carnoustie Championship Course – is open throughout summer for all ages and abilities, with putters and golf balls available for free from the Professional Shop within Links House.
